The Sir William Muir's book entitled, The Corân: Its Composition and Teaching; and the Testimony it bears to the Holy Scriptures, proves that the Old and New Testaments were accepted by Muhammad as authentic and uncorrupted.  W. Muir demonstrates this thesis with extensive quotations from the Qur'an.

In his book, The Mohammedan Controversy and Other Indian Articles, Sir William Muir discussed and evaluated the works of Christian apologists, such as, Henry Martyn, Pfander, Forster, and Springer.  In the Second Article, he wrote about the relative merits of the different biographies of Mohammed.  In the Third Article, he discussed the Sunnah and Qur'anic commentaries.  In the fourth Article he presented the reader with the liturgy among the Christians of India.  The last Article is on the Psalms and their use in church worship.
